Books Books Books

21 May

I just spent ten minutes searching for my copy of the YA novel Eyes Like Stars by Lisa Montchev. I didn’t find it, but I did find this YA novel: Libyrinth by Pearl North. It’s set in a gigantic future library; it makes me think of the Doctor Who ep “Silence in the Library.” Meanwhile, my apartment is looking rather like a very disorganized library; otherwise I would have found Eyes Like Stars.

Having returned from Canada slightly over a week ago, I’m slowly typing up my travel journal. I haven’t gotten back to work on my fairy tale novel Woodland Castle, but this morning I suddenly had ideas for the first novel in my Rowanwick Chronicles, so I’ve been working on that today. I should also be editing a novel manuscript for my brother. Maybe I should work on a little of each of these projects each day (except days I devote to hiking, which is about once a week).
